Prom Spot - Fun (and Easy!) Post-Prom Plans

When the DJ plays the last song, you'll want to have more fun to look forward to! Check out our totally simple, no-planning-necessary ideas for post-prom parties.

Take it outside
Hit the beach or a nearby forest preserve. If the authorities don't mind (you might need to get a permit beforehand), make a small campfire, spread out some blankets, make s'mores, and dish prom dirt until the sun comes up. Or enjoy a clambake on the beach and watch the sunrise. Hey, the great outdoors might not be a room at the Four Seasons, but it is just as romantic, if not more.

Post-prom par-tay
With your friends, pool what's left of your funds and throw an after-party at your parents' house or a hotel room. Hit up room service, order pizza or stock up on snacks at the mini-mart -- you'll be starved after burning all those calories on the dance floor. Next, hook up your digital cameras to a laptop, iPod, or the TV, and present an instant slideshow of your prom night. You can even vote on who captured the night's best.

Film festival
You're all dressed up, so pretend you're attending a movie premiere. Or get in comfy clothes -- but grab your guy and catch a movie. It doesn't have to mean heading home -- many cinemas show late-night screenings. (Of course, snuggling on the couch with a DVD can be just as entertaining). Click here for our prom flick picks.

Hit the road
If your limo (or designated driver) is still available, it's time to roll! It's not every day that you've got the opportunity to strut your fabulous glamazon selves all over town. Ask your driver to take you on a tour of local hot spots. Tonight, the world is yours...so why not work it?
